Rafflesia tengku-adlinii is a parasitic plant species of the Rafflesiaceae Family. It was discovered on Mount Trus Madi, Sabah, Malaysia in 1987. This species was named after Tengku D. Z. Adlin, conservationist and president of the Sabah Society. Rafflesia tengku-adlinii is a family of parasitic plants found in east and southeast Asia. Rafflesia tengku-adlinii is endoparasites of vines in the genus Tetrastigma (Vitaceae) and lack stems, leaves, roots, and any photosynthetic tissue. Only the flowers emerge from the roots or lower stems of the host plants.
